LEVENOL RANGE, THE SUSTAINABLE CHOICE
LEVENOL range, Ethoxylated glycerine esters, are non-ionic surfactants of plant origin, one hundred percent concentrated and with an outstanding eco-toxicological profile. They are obtained from an optimal manufacturing process with a lower carbon footprint than standard ethoxylated fatty alcohols. Moreover, they are products with a liquid appearance that are very easy to handle even at low temperatures.
TOWARDS A MORE SUSTAINABLE LEVENOL RANGE
Kao has even gone a step further in the sustainable profile
of this product range. LEVENOL variants with even better
sustainable profile are offered: 100% Bio-based (LEVENOL
F-200 BIO and EMANON XLF BIO) or palm-free from
local sourcing (LEVENOL SF-200). These versions afford
a 40% reduction in the carbon footprint in comparison to
ethoxylated fatty alcohols, which significantly increases the sustainable profile of the final compositions.
In addition, LEVENOL variants with lower Carbon Footprint maintain product characteristics and features from the standard
versions with additional sustainable attributes like a lower content of 1,4-dioxane (< 1 ppm) achieved through an improvement in the production process.
